Prior to all games on Saturday 5 May 2018, Killingworth Young Peoples Club request that a minutes applause is held to celebrate the life Freya Amis who sadly gained her angel wings at 23:49 on Friday 27 April 2018 after a long battle with DIPG.

Freya was not only part of the KYPC family, but the younger sister of a current KYPC player and daughter of an existing coach.

As a club we stand should-to-shoulder with them through this very difficult time and would welcome the support of other clubs. Our thoughts are with all Freya’s family at this very difficult time.
